Canyon of the valley - Saulges
A major prehistoric site! The Saulges canyon valley boasts 22 caves, 2 of which are open to visitors: the Margot and Rochefort caves.
The Margot cave is 300 metres long. Engravings (woolly rhinoceros, bison, birds, etc.) were uncovered in 2003. The Rochefort cave is vertical and plunges into an impressive 15-metre chasm !
